Workshop on Nuclear Chromo-Dynamic Studies with a Future Electron Ion Collider

Argonne National Laboratory, April 7 - 9, 2010

The workshop on "Nuclear Chromo-Dynamic Studies with a Future Electron Ion Collider", co-organized by Argonne National Laboratory, and the Jefferson Lab Users Group, is one of the science workshops organized to investigate the physics potential that a high luminosity and moderate energy electron ion collider offers beyond the 12 GeV Upgrade of Jefferson Lab. The program of the workshop will summarize recent physics results obtained by the different nuclear chromo-dynamics subgroups. The goal of the workshop is to identify exciting physics measurements and physics-based requirements for the characteristics of the Collider. The workshop will take place at the Physics Division of Argonne National Laboratory from April 7 to 9th. We look forward to your participation in this workshop.

Topics

Nuclear DVCS, shadowing and anti-shadowing -- Color Transparency -- EMC effect -- short range correlations -- nuclear form factors -- Hadronization -- Bose-Einstein correlations -- hidden colors --
