QCD Propagators: What the lattice says
The quark and gluon propagators are the building blocks of QCD,
but at low momentum they are significantly modified by
nonperturbative physics, making them difficult to calculate.
Over the years there have been many model calculations, sometimes
with wildly conflicting results. Lattice gauge theory provides a
way of calculating the propagators from first principles. I will
give a summary of the progress made in this area, including some
recent results with dynamical fermions, and give some examples of
the extraction of some interesting quantities.
