Helium, Relativity and QED
Recent advances in theoretical methods for atomic helium open the way
to new kinds of measurement strategies. The talk will focus on an
overview of three main themes: (1) advances in atomic theory for
relativistic and QED effects, (2) applications to a measurement of the
fine structure constant from fine structure splittings, and (3) applications
to the measurement of nuclear charge radii from the isotope shift.
