Three Decades of the CDF Experiment, Many Decades of Sensitivity
Argonne Physics Division Colloquium - 10 Sep 2010
11:00 AM, Building 203 auditorium

The CDF Collaboration formed in the late 1970's as an effort to develop a colliding beam experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron high energy proton-antiproton collider. Thirty years later, the upgraded experiment continues to collect data and produce a very diverse set of measurements ranging from precision low mass physics to the search for the Higgs boson. We will talk about the science, technology and history of the CDF experiment, highlighting some of the most interesting and exciting results. We will also look forward to what the future holds for CDF and the Tevatron.
