    Research Interests

I am interested in nuclear and particle physics focussing on their intersections. My current research deals with hadronic effects in flavour physics and in particular with their contribution to strong CP violating phases in B-meson decays; and with scalar resonances observed in mesonic final states of both B and D decays. My main object of interest are hadronic form factors, which imply soft degrees of freedom and non-perturbative approaches to their calculation. Theoretical methods that describe and reproduce the features of non-perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics make use of chiral perturbation theory, Dyson-Schwinger equations, and light meson scattering phenomenology. I am also generally interested in effective theories as well as in Standard Model physics and beyond.
