Properties of Superconducting Triple-Spoke-Loaded Accelerator Cavities
Argonne Physics Division Seminar - 11 June 2007

Two triple-spoke-loaded superconducting niobium accelerator cavities are being developed at Argonne National Laboratory for heavy-ion linacs. This cavity class is of interest for several proposed superconducting high-energy heavy-ion linacs: the Advanced Exotic Beams Laboratory driver linac and the FNAL High Intensity Neutrino Source proton driver linac. This seminar will report on the development status of the two cavities. Results of cold tests, including RF performance and mechanical properties, will be presented.
