Update on TESLA
Physics Division Colloquium - 4 Jan. 2002

TESLA stands for "TeV-Energy Superconducting Linear Accelerator" - a 33-kilometer-long superconducting particle accelerator with built-in X-ray lasers, which is being proposed and developed by an international collaboration. The talk includes a general overview of the TESLA project and recent achievements at the TESLA Test Facility (TTF). It also will cover future plans for TTF and other TESLA R&D. On-going efforts at Fermi Lab and via an FNAL/ANL collaboration will be described.
