Generalized parton distributions and double distributions
In recent years generalized parton distributions
have generated considerable attention both experimentally
and theoretically. In this talk, I will describe the properties
required of these distributions including an alternate
formulation in terms of double distributions. I will then
show how existing hadronic models are largely insufficient
for generalized parton distribution phenomenology and construct
a few simple models that satisfy all known constraints.
