Research interests
Using a nucleus a femtovertex detector is a powerful way to study the time evolution of special configurations in the hadron wave function. Such configurations could be a point like configuration produced in hard exclusive reactions as predicted by QCD to be color transparency phenomenon. They could also be a quark loosing energy and neutralizing its color to form many hadrons in the final state, as it is the case of nuclear semi inclusive deep inelastic scattering. I am involved in an exciting program to study Hadronization, quark energy loss, color transparency and EMC effect using CLAS detector at JLab. The future looks even brighter with the JLab 12 GeV upgrade.
The majority of my work is performed in Hall B at Jefferson lab, though I am (or have been) involved in Hall C and Hall A experiments, as well as experiments at HERMES at DESY and Fermilab.
