[1] on tapes these buffers are of size 112 and 90. On disk the buffers are 16K long.
[2] These buffers were originally not written to disk in the 'new' sga DAQ. Only data blocks were written to out. Later versions of the 'new' DAQ software now writes these buffers to disk but in 16K buffers since variable size buffers on disk are difficult to handle. So to distinguish the type of buffer ( (tape)header, buffer header or data buffer) you must inspect the RecordType.
