Chicago is serviced by two major airports: O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport. Details on these airports, and ground transportation from them, can be found at these links.  The hotels and conference site are about 15 miles (24 km) from each airport.

• The most convenient way to get to the hotels from the airports is using a taxi. Taxis are available immediately outside the baggage claim area. Depending on traffic and fuel surcharges, a taxi will typically cost about US$ 35-40.
  
  
• Airport Express is an independent shuttle bus company that  provides shuttle service to and from the airports. Rates and additional information can be found at the website. The current, one-way rate between O'Hare and Downtown Chicago is US$ 27. The rate goes down if you book for 3 or more people on the same ride.
  
  
• The hotels can also be reached by public transportation, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) The website explains which trains/buses to take. Depending on the time of day, the ride takes about one hour and costs about US$ 2.

Within Chicago, transportation is usually by taxi or through the CTA bus and rail system. Transit Cards can be purchased and value can be added to Transit Cards at vending machines located at all CTA rail stations. Vending machines accept 1, 5, 10 and 20 US$ bills and most coins (except pennies and half dollars). Credit card cannot be used to buy transit cards at the station.
