Fundamental limits to measuring space and time

This talk derives physical limits to the accuracy of systems such as the global positioning system (GPS) that measure distance and time. By combining quantum mechanics with gravity, we arrive at a fundamental limit to the accuracy with which the geometry of spacetime can be determined.
